It’s a busy week in the School of Viticulture and Wine Science.

The New Zealand Winegrowers Romeo Bragato Conference is being held this week at the Pettigrew Green Arena and also at the School of Viticulture and Wine Science at EIT. This conference is the largest and one of the most important conferences for grape growers and wine makers on the New Zealand calendar.

As well, the National Young Winemaker Competition and the National Young Viticulturist Competition occurs this week – with EIT in support, but also as the educator for many of the finalists.

The Science Fair is also held this week at EIT – where budding scientists show their investigative skills. Primary, Intermediate and high school students are competing in various contests.

All around – there is science in all directions at EIT this week!
