Career Advisor
EIT’s Industry Partnerships Manager is available to provide a wide range of employment-related support and advice. This includes group presentations and workshops, as well as being available to meet students for individual employment consultations. All of these sessions will include coverage of the following:
- CV development
- Interview training
- Online job applications (sourcing, registering, processes involved)
- Communication skills
- Industry sector knowledge and referrals
- Pay and conditions of work
- Employment law and your employment rights
- Individual pathway plans
Another key focus area of this role is developing mutually beneficial partnerships with industry and business representatives. At EIT we want to ensure that our programmes reflect the dynamic and rapidly evolving demands of businesses which are operating in highly competitive environments. We are also aiming to increase the visibility of EIT amongst the business community, so that members have an enhanced appreciation of how our highly capable graduates can make a positive contribution to their enterprises.
