The Mary Isabella Pharazyn (nee Bollinger) scholarship was introduced in 2017, following a bequest received from the Pharazyn Estate to be used for the benefit of students in the Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education) at EIT.
This scholarship is awarded to one student annually to the value of $2,500.
Objectives of the May Isabella Pharazyn (nee Bollinger) Scholarship:
To encourage consistent academic achievement
To recognise contribution to community
To encourage learning at all stages of life
To encourage completion of studies
To diminish barriers to learning
Eligibility criteria:
This scholarship is open to any full-time Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education) student about to begin Year 3 (Level 7) of their qualification.
Applicants must have been enrolled in the programme with EIT since their first year (Level 5).
Please note only New Zealand Citizens or Permanent Residents are eligible to apply for this Scholarship.
