Does the thought of walking, jogging, or running five kilometres seem an impossible task?
Have you ever thought you would like to be more active but didn’t know where to start?
EIT Sport Science Services will create an individual eight-week programme specifically tailored to your needs to ensure that you can safely transition to walking, jogging, or running 5km.
Walking, jogging, and running are inexpensive ways to be active, improve your health, and reduce the risk of heart disease, diabetes, and other metabolic disease. You can train by yourself or in groups with a programme that gradually builds your confidence, fitness, and ability to do more activity. Training can be undertaken at our lab at EIT ISH, on the track, or on the trail around the Mitre 10 Sports Park.
Eight Week programme (includes one session per fortnight with EIT Sport Science Services staff) $245 per individual
