Regardless of whether you are in EIT | Te Pūkenga or private accommodation, you must inform EIT | Te Pūkenga of your arrival details two weeks prior to your departure date.

Conditions of Acceptance and Enrolment

    • Please read the International Prospectus for detailed information on Conditional Offers and meeting the conditions of acceptance.
    • Please note that this is your application form. If you are studying on campus your enrolment will take place once you arrive at EIT | Te Pūkenga in New Zealand. Enrolment can only be completed once you have shown the correct student visa, paid full tuition fees and have compulsory insurance cover. If you are studying online you will be sent details on how to enrol once your application has been accepted.

Te Pūkenga brings together New Zealand’s Institutes of Technology, Polytechnics, and Industry Training Organisations to build a network of on-campus, online, offshore and work-based education and training. Enrolling with us for study means you will receive a qualification from Aotearoa New Zealand’s largest education provider, Te Pūkenga – New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology.

DISCLAIMER: Following Cyclone Gabrielle, a weather event that significantly affected the Hawke’s Bay region in New Zealand in February 2023, many programmes and courses previously delivered from EIT’s Taradale (Napier) campus are now being delivered from nearby alternative locations. EIT is committed to ensuring that all programmes and courses we deliver, regardless of the delivery approach or location, continue to comply with the Educational Regulatory Framework Te Kawa Maiorooro. Te Pūkenga – New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology trading as EIT reserves the right to amend, cancel or postpone any programme or course for any reason and shall not be liable for any claim other than that proportion of the programme fee which the cancelled or postponed portion bears. Programmes or courses may be subject to review as part of the Reform of Vocational Education.

  3. I understand that EIT | Te Pūkenga reserves the right to terminate an offer of place or enrolment if the information given in this application is incorrect in any significant way.

  5. I will attend all classes (except in the case of illness when I must provide a medical certificate) to comply with Immigration New Zealand and EIT | Te Pūkenga policy of 100% attendance.
  6. If I am studying on campus in New Zealand, I understand that Immigration New Zealand will be notified if, due to poor attendance and/or progress, my enrolment is cancelled.
  7. I hereby authorise EIT | Te Pūkenga to release academic records or information related to my health and safety to my parents, education placement agency, guardian, other providers of international education, the Police, the Department of Courts, Immigration or NZQA or insurance agent, should EIT | Te Pūkenga consider that it is necessary to do so for my well-being or educational benefit.

If I am studying on campus in New Zealand, I agree to provide EIT | Te Pūkenga with evidence of an appropriate visa and medical insurance for the duration of my qualification at EIT | Te Pūkenga. I acknowledge that, if at any time during my enrolment with EIT | Te Pūkenga I do not have a valid visa or insurance, then my enrolment will be cancelled.
