There are no medical practitioners operating out of the EIT Health Centre.

The EIT Counsellor Diana Kirton can offer free therapeutic support for students and staff. She is based at the EIT Health Centre room K106. You can contact Diana by call or text 027 272 1660 or email dkirton@eit.ac.nz  to make an appointment. She is available Monday – Wednesday 8am – 5pm.

Our Student Wellbeing Advisor Barbara West is also available for wellbeing advice and guidance. She is based at the EIT Health Centre room K116. You can contact Barbara by call or text 027 213 9787 or email bwest@eit.ac.nz She is available Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm.

Turanga Health

EIT Tairāwhiti has partnered with Turanga Health to offer you FREE access to their nurse-led Health and Wellness Centre.

Whether you’re dealing with a nagging cold, need some advice on managing stress, or just want to chat about your mental health, Turanga Health is here to support you every step of the way.

How to access the services provided by Turanga Health:

All EIT students can walk in off the street – no appointment needed! Just remember to bring your student ID along with you, and you’ll receive free, confidential care and guidance.
