The NZ Certificate in Light Automotive Engineering (Level 4) is a nationally recognised qualification with 14 courses (200 credits).
Night school and block courses are delivered at our Hawke’s Bay and Tairāwhiti campuses as part of the programme. These are designed for the apprentice to complete work that they cannot fulfill at their place of employment eg. ‘High Risk Automotive Systems’.
There are four entry points per year:
A prerequisite for entering into this qualification is the NZ Certificate in Automotive Engineering (Level 3) or equivalent.
The apprentice must be employed full-time.

EIT| Te Pūkenga offers a variety of scholarships across various subjects and programme levels. Some scholarships are based on your age, some are specific to the subject you want to study. Not all scholarships are based on your academic ability and anyone wanting to study should investigate what scholarships are available to them.
