“The versatility offered by the programme helps you to become a well-rounded person. It creates avenues for expanding the knowledge and skills relevant to the discipline that interests you most.”

What do you like about the programme you are studying
at EIT?
The one and a half year programme has introduced me to different courses that seem interesting. The advantage of this is that I can choose the field of study I am interested in. This in turn will fulfil my requirement to achieve a Level 9 postgraduate qualification.

How do your lecturers and learning advisors help and inspire you?
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the advisors were very concerned for me and my family. They know about mental health concerns which is very touching. We were able to stay on track with online academic study through quality guidance and regular reminders about assessments.

How will your programme and experience at EIT help you in your future career?
The versatility offered by the programme helps you to become a well-rounded person. It creates avenues for expanding the knowledge and skills relevant to the discipline that interests you most. For the future, I believe in healthcare for everyone through equitable service delivery.

What has been the highlight of your time at EIT so far?
Being able to tackle the challenges I have encountered with ease through a strong support group consisting of friends, teachers and advisors.

What advice would you give to future students who are thinking of studying at EIT?
“Go to school to socialise and go home to study.”
