“What I have learnt at EIT will help guide my career path in the future. I believe I have found what I am passionate about”

What do you like about the programme you are studying at EIT?
The part I like most is the atmosphere. EIT provides an excellent study environment and I like that students and lecturers can hold discussions comfortably, they are easy to talk to and approachable.

How do your lecturers and learning advisors help and inspire you?
The lecturers provide help to students whenever we have the need in order to create a stress free environment. We are encouraged to search for a solution to a problem with our own understanding rather than a set answer. I think this is very important for us to be educated by not just remembering but also understanding what we have learnt and being able to apply it to daily life.

How will your programme and experience at EIT help you in your future career?
What I have learnt at EIT will help guide my career path in the future. I believe I have found what I am passionate about.

What has been the highlight of your time at EIT so far?
The additional learning workshops and seminars that EIT offers. It definitely helps me learn more about New Zealand
culture which made studying here a lot easier.

What advice would you give to future students who are thinking of studying at EIT?
Study hard to gain the knowledge to apply to the workforce. Also socialise when necessary to make connections, it will help some day. Be proactive in your school life, help others in need, you never know who may help you when you need it someday.
