Yesterday the Government reviewed the traffic light colours for each region. From 11:59pm Thursday 30 December the following regions relevant to EIT will move from Red to Orange; Auckland, Gisborne/Tairāwhiti, and Wairoa. Hawke’s Bay will remain in Orange. What does this means for EIT from 30 December?

EIT will be closed when the traffic lights change from Red to Orange so there won’t be any immediate changes that impact you. It is likely that EIT’s campuses and regional learning centres will reopen in 2022 in Orange. Here is reminder of what tertiary education looks like in Orange.  If this changes at the 17 January 2022 review, we will provide a further update then.
