EIT was the sponsor of the Excellence in Innovation Award won The Clean Crew at this year’s Pan Pac Hawke’s Bay Business Awards, presented by the Hawke’s Bay Chamber of Commerce, celebrating resilience, community, connections, and sustainability.

EIT has been a long-standing sponsor of the business awards. For EIT, the awards are a brilliant way of recognising the achievement of local businesses that have such a positive impact on Hawke’s Bay communities.

Business communities and EIT are intertwined and mutually dependent. Local businesses are giving EIT interns the opportunity to get valuable work experience and ensure that their learning is relevant to their future careers.

The judges said, “The Clean Crew have taken an age old communication issue in the commercial cleaning world and used it as a jumping off point to revolutionise their business operations. Using technology to transform how they do business from customer communication, contract transparency, and job auditability through to employee health and safety and productivity monitoring. The judges were impressed by the depth of thinking and execution that went into the design and implementation.”
