Kia ora from our Campus Director

January 13, 2014

jan (18)There is so much that goes on at our EIT Tairāwhiti Campus throughout the year. We like to celebrate the milestones of our students.

Our programmes for 2014 are filling fast, with several already filled before Christmas. Spaces are limited in many of our programmes, so don’t waste any time before enrolling.

For those not sure about just what to study, we have the Get Started Programmes, both at the main campus and at some of our regional learning  centres. Subjects include computing, English as a second language, cafe and introduction to cooking, but have a chat to the enrolment team for full details.

The unique Certificate in Grapegrowing and Winemaking starts in early February, giving students a full hands-on experience through vintage. Previous graduates from this programme work in wineries all over the world.

Also starting then are the trades programmes, but with limited spaces ensure an early enrolment to make sure you don’t miss out.
Our Ruatoria Regional Learning Centre has some new programmes on offer for 2014. Head to the coast campus on February 5th for an open day to learn more.

The highly successful Homework Support Group will be back underway in the new year with an information day for schools, parents and students on January 14th. The club covers all year 12 and 13 subjects, including accounting, psychology, physics, maths and more.

We look forward to welcoming both returning and new students this year. We hope you have all enjoyed your summer break and are ready to take your learning aspirations to a new level. We will be with you every step of the way to ensure you achieve your goals and dreams.
