EIT Tairawhiti Student Association Welcomes New Students

January 29, 2013

EIT Tairawhiti

The team at the Student Association has some fantastic events planned for 2013 and kicking off the year is ‘O’ Week. This fun filled event happens over the 27th (Main Campus) and 28th (RSU) February from 12 – 1pm. You will get to sample some of a selection of what local businesses have to offer students while enjoying free food and entertainment. The Student Association will continue their fine tradition of giving away free stuff too.

If you are interested in belonging to or starting a club or group on campus, then come along to Registration Day at lunchtime on Wednesday 20th Feb in the newly refurbished Students Centre, to check out if any group, club or society is of interest to you. Or if you are interested in starting up a club of your own then the Student Association can assist students in holding gatherings, inviting speakers and applying for grants.

On a more serious note, Nicky and Jackie would love to assist you with any questions/queries that you may have about life on campus. They are there to help and the services that they offer range from advocacy to lunchtime activities to book binding.

Come along and meet the team at the Student Association who are dedicated to making sure your study at EIT is not all too serious.

For all the latest info on what’s happening on campus, be sure to check out the Student Association website www.eitsa.co.nz or their Facebook page www.facebook.com/EITSATairawhiti .
