When EIT Screen Production Programme Coordinator Claire heard ex HB avant garde Music Video Director Edward De Vere was in town for the Art Deco weekend in February she invited him to give a guest lunchtime lecture for the music, art, fashion and screen production students.
Student Mathew Watkins followed up on the contact and now has a credit for his work on De Vere’s latest music video as 1st AD and Compositor. The music video shot in Hawke’s Bay at various locations including Te Mata Peak and Napier’s historic Brewster Street with EIT Screen Production students in May has been released for broadcast on TV this week. The track “Who are You” for Julian Dyne ft Ladi6 was directed by Berlin-based de Vere and produced by Gayle Hogan in association EIT Screen Productions Top Blokes.
