The five students awarded Otatara Trust Scholarships this year will each receive $2500.

The scholarship selection panel said the calibre of applicants was once again high, and all were deserving of a scholarship.

Those awarded scholarships were Sarah Enticott, who is studying for a Bachelor Applied Social Sciences (Counselling);, Natasha Hau, a Bachelor of Arts Honours (Māori) student; Sakayi Ncomanzi and Vicki Simpson, who are both studying for their Bachelor of Nursing degrees and Tuterangi Nepe-Apatu, a Bachelor of Recreation and Sport student.
