Commercial Fishing is established with its own vessel, Lady Jacqueline, and runs its own commercial operation to make the training realistic. The programme’s vessel is set up for full commercial operations in rock lobster potting, lining (rope and mono), tuna fishing and gillnetting. In addition the vessel is used to teach vessel handling, navigation, safety at sea and vessel maintenance. The programme closes in 2006.
