Profile
Tēnā koutou. My name is Saemone Fraser and I am the Centre Manager at Ōtātara Children’s Centre at EIT. My connection with the children’s centre began almost 30 years ago when my oldest child attended while I studied business at EIT.
After having two more tamariki, I became increasingly fascinated with how children learn and develop so I returned to study, this time enrolling in a Bachelor of Teaching Degree and then later, a Master’s Degree in education.
I began working as a kaiako at Ōtātara in 2010 and I’ve loved it so much that I’m still here! I know I’m so lucky to have a job that I love, where every day brings something new and interesting.
