Profile

I earned my Bachelor of Business Management (Accountancy) degree from the University of Kelaniya (Sri Lanka), followed by a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Colombo (Sri Lanka), and a Doctor of Philosophy in Accounting from the University of Waikato. My research interests include financial reporting, corporate governance, climate-related risk, and sustainability accounting. I have presented my research at conferences both nationally and internationally, and my work has been published in journals such as Meditari Accountancy Research and the Journal of Accounting in Emerging Economies.
