Welcome, I trained as a Registered Nurse in the 1980’s in Palmerston North and spent much of my time with the Mid Central District Health Board specialising in the support of people with an Intellectual or Physical Disability.

I have been fortunate to have had many opportunities with the Health sector and have had experience as an Infection Control Nurse, Clinic Practice Nurse, Nurse Educator and part-time Nursing Lecturer for 8 years with the Bachelor of Nursing programme at UCOL in Palmerston North.

More recently I have had a community based role as a Nurse Consultant with specialist services providing assessment liaison and advocacy support for health issues, training staff and educating providers.

I have been the Programme Coordinator for the Health and Wellbeing programmes at EIT for a number of years now and enjoy this role very much.
