Before becoming a lecturer at EIT, Kim worked in a variety of roles in the software development industry, including analysis & development, technical support, database administration and project management.  She uses this real-world experience to inform her teaching, aiming to teach valuable skills based on best practice and industry experience.

Kim’s current research focusses on how to best use eLearning technology in tertiary education.
