John has Executive academic oversight of teaching, learning and assessment across a range of discipline areas including the Schools of:

• Business and Culinary Management
• Computing
• Trades and Technology
• Agrivine and Animal Care

John has additional Executive responsibility for the Auckland Campus and its delivery and operations, and China based programmes at ZYU and QLUT.

John joined EIT in 2021 as Head of School Business and Computing. With over 20 years’ experience, John has worked as an executive leader and senior manager in academic and non-academic roles at Ara, eCampus NZ, Otago Polytechnic and the Christchurch College of Education.

John is based at the EIT Hawke’s Bay Campus in Taradale, Napier
