Profile
I have over fifteen years of experience as an educator within the primary education sector, teaching in Aotearoa New Zealand and China. This includes roles as a classroom teacher, Learning Experience Outside the Classroom (LEOTC) educator, and teacher educator. My research interests involve place-based learning, environmental education, ethics, critical and ecofeminist pedagogy. My MEd dissertation explores the connection between people and place, influencing the reimagining of school curriculum in Aotearoa New Zealand.
