Profile
Kia ora. My name is Abbie March, and I have been a Head Teacher at Ōtātara Children’s Centre since 2021. I predominantly work in Te Puāwai (our over-2s room) and my twin four year olds come to Ōtātara with me.
Since completing my Bachelor of Teaching in Early Childhood in 2011, I have worked in a variety of early childhood settings in New Zealand and abroad, deepening my commitment to supporting children’s learning and development.
As a kaiako, I enjoy creating beautiful spaces for children to learn and explore. What I love most about Ōtātara Children’s Centre is the amazing environment, there is so much room for the children to run, move and experience the outdoors.
