David Brook and the Council make a case to the Department of Education to purchase the well loved house at 292 Palmerston Road which will act as a community house where a wide range of part-time courses on personal development, skill based training in parenting and communication skills, as well as trainings for a range of helping agencies are  offered. Parents are able to attend courses and bring their young children with them. A part-time child care worker is employed as well as a part-time course coordinator.
