She finds Toihoukura a very unique place to study with highly skilled tutors and like-minded creatives this combination provides many opportunities for career growth as well as personal growth.

“He kakano ahau I ruia a mai I Rangiatea”

This piece is about our seed of greatness. Us, indigenous people. Along your journey of life how you look after your seed is your
decision no one else’s. Sitting on a pedestal for all to see.

Be proud of who you are and where you are from. Many design systems are used to symbolise Tupuna and Atua.

This piece was created to inspire, acknowledge and empower everyone who sees it.

 “He toa taumata rau”

This piece was created in memory of two beautiful wahine. The elephant was ones spirit animal, the Mangōpare design and double
tusks represent the strength of the two whānau. During this sad time I wanted to capture the beauty of the wahine.

This is how the plant designs were created. This piece was made to shine a light when it gets dark.
