EIT’s Atrium was buzzing during the careers expo.
On Wednesday October 16, EIT’s Career Service and the School of Business and Computing held a careers expo. Local and international firms like ANZ, Furnware, Bostocks and PanPac came to EIT as part of their recruitment activity and offered their expertise to the students.
A great number of students gain an insight into the employment market, discuss further career plans and find out what employers are seeking in prospective employees.
Prior to the expo EIT had organised a preparation event. “It was the first time we ran such an event and it was great to have representatives from ANZ and Cedenco coming to talk to our students about how to prepare for a networking event,” said project manager, Anna Renton-Green.
