EIT researcher receives grant for community health project

September 12, 2019

Congratulations to Rachael Walker, Associate Professor in EIT’s School of Nursing. Rachael has just been awarded a grant by the Royston Health Trust for a collaborative research project with Dr Andrew McNally from the Hawke’s Bay District Health Board. “Our project is going to investigate frailty in patients with end stage kidney disease and identify factors to improve outcomes associated with frailty. We are very grateful for this support in this important area of community health,” says Rachael.

We look forward to hearing about your discoveries and findings which will make a big difference for our community, Rachael.
