Ideaschool Celebrates Creativity

September 11, 2018

Ideaschool is to stage an on-site, end-of-year arts festival that will celebrate creative successes and showcase the work of the multi-talented arts students at EIT.

The one-day festival is to be held on the Hawke’s Bay campus on Thursday 29 November, with events kicking off from late afternoon and continuing into the evening.

The festival will encompass art and design exhibits, the ever-popular student fashion show and screenings of film productions. The festival finale will feature performances by graduating music students, with festival-goers invited to join in as the floor is cleared for a night of dancing.

Head of Ideaschool, Professor Matthew Marshall says “The Ideaschool Arts Festival is a celebration of the wonderful achievements of our students over the year. We’re incredibly proud of the work they do and it’s a privilege for Ideaschool to have played a part in shaping their development as artists. The Ideaschool Arts Festival is set to become a feature of the Hawke’s Bay arts calendar and that will cement EIT’s place as a leader in creative arts education in New Zealand.”
