EIT Students Score a Double in Viticulture Competition

EIT student success in winemaking and viticulture competitions continued with wins by two distance students in the Wairarapa Young Viticulturist of the Year competition.

Scott Lanceley-Cockram, a Bachelor of Viticulture student, took out the Bayer Wairarapa Young Viticulturist of the Year title and now progresses to the national competition.

Scott works to Te Kairanga winery in the Wairarapa.

A Diploma in Grapegrowing and Winemaking student, Ben McNab-Jones was runner-up and also top-placed in the interview section.  Ben works for Matahiwi winery, also in the Wairarapa.
