Congratulations to Dr Rachael Vernon, who graduated with her PhD at the University of Sydney in late 2013. Rachael’s research “Relationships between legislation, policy and continuing competence requirements for Registered Nurses in New Zealand” has already resulted in a number of publications, invited keynote presentations and invitations to collaborate on similar projects internationally.

Congratulations to Dr Clare Harvey, recently promoted to Associate Professor.

In recognition of her outstanding research leadership and research activities, Clare was promoted to Associate Professor in December 2013. Clare has also recently taken on the role of Postgraduate Health Science Programmes Coordinator across the School of Nursing and School of Health & Sport Science.
