On Thursday 14th February we will welcome visitors Dr Michael Lederer and Dr Ruetger Conzelmann from Hochschule Furtwangen University (HFU) Germany to EIT. The purpose of their visit is to further an agreement EIT signed with HFU last year for study abroad students from HFU to study for one semester at EIT and/or to complete an Industry Based Learning project with Hawke’s Bay businesses and to develop an exchange of students between HFU and EIT along similar lines. Initially this arrangement will mainly involve Business students, with possible future involvement of Computing students. As part of their visit to EIT Michael and Ruetger will present a seminar introducing HFU, their programmes, specifically their Bachelor of International Business and study abroad at HFU. This seminar will be particularly relevant for all staff with an interest in our BBS and BCS however all are welcome to attend.
