Two New Zealand Educational Institutes open Liaison Office in India

In an innovative initiative in international marketing and student recruitment, the Eastern Institute of Technology and the Universal College of Learning have formally opened a joint venture educational liaison office in the Indian city of Bangalore.

The official opening was inaugurated by Melanie Chapman, education counsellor at the New Zealand High Commission in New Delhi.

Simmi Krishnan, a full-time employee of EIT and UCOL, will coordinate with South Indian education agencies, consultants and educational institutions to offer counsellor training and educational product, promoting opportunities for Indians to study at EIT and UCOL.

Also attending the opening were senior managers of both institutions and a wide range of educational consultants based in India.
