Formerly regional manager, Pacific, for City and Guilds of London, Glenn succeeds Jenny Robertson.
Recently retired, Jenny was highly regarded by EIT staff and students and the hospitality and tourism industries.
During her 7½ years in the role, she introduced several new subject areas into her schools.
These included the New Zealand Certificate in Bakery at EIT Hawke’s Bay and EIT Tairāwhiti, English language at the Auckland campus, tourism at the Tairāwhiti campus and marae cookery at six off-site marae venues around the Hawke’s Bay and Gisborne regions.
Glenn has previously held regional manager positions in the ITO Hospitality Standards Institute and he has been a director and owner of various hospitality businesses.
During his 17 years in the tertiary educator sector, both in New Zealand and overseas, he has developed a network of industry partnerships that are relevant to the head of school role at EIT.
