A vineyard is developed on the Public Trust administered Gowerville Farm, a parcel of land leased at no cost to the institution in Riverside Road in the Waimata valley.

For Progress Marketing, Steve Chrisohoou is in the Philippines on a project for Cedenco, Alistair Ackroyd and Phil Gaukrodger are doing consultancy work in Samoa for the Western Samoa Polytechnic and Rosemary Middleton and Ann Deans are in Malaysia for the formal launching ceremony of the joint INTI College/Tairāwhiti Polytechnic International Diploma in Office Systems.

Te Komiti is formalized to report to the Council on governance matters and to Management Team through the Te Komiti Chair.  It is open to all Māori staff and Māori Council members. It was set up with the support of Barney Tupara, Te Kaiwhakahaere.
