This is a two day workshop for Registered Nurses designed to develop skills as a preceptor working with new staff including HCAs, RNs, ENs, and nursing students.

The Preceptor Workshops are offered throughout the year between February and November.

This competency-based education programme will prepare registered health professionals to be certified as “Approved Smear Takers”.

This programme is only appropriate for those registered health professionals working in situations where they have access to taking smears.

Students must complete this programme within 12 months of the start date.
