Profile

Dr Rachael Glassey is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow of Te Kura i Awarua (Rangahau Māori Centre) and part of the Nourishing Hawke’s Bay (NHB) – He wairua tō te kai research group. NHB is a National Science Challenge – A Better Start funded project aiming to build health, wellbeing and learning success for tamariki and rangatahi in Hawke’s Bay. Rachael completed a BA Psychology at Massey University before spending 10 years in Perth, where she completed a PhD with the University of Western Australia in the area of psycho-oncology. Rachael’s research interests are health and medical research, with a strong focus on qualitative research methods.
