Tairāwhiti Graduation Day

If you are eligible to graduate in 2022, you must apply online before, 25 March.
All graduands must register whether attending or not so you will receive your certificate in a timely manner.
Regalia Pick Up
Regalia will be available for pick up from: Tairāwhiti Campus – Palmerston Road – Room PR101, OR the War Memorial Theatre, times and dates to be confirmed.
Regalia MUST be returned immediately following the graduation ceremony by handing it to the EIT Staff at the designated regalia return area at the War Memorial Theatre. You will be charged the full replacement cost if the regalia is not returned.
Graduands will gather in full academic regalia at Heipipi Park at 11:30am. At 12:00 noon sharp a procession led by Local Authority Leaders and the Pipe Band will parade down Gladstone Road, Bright Street along Childers Road, on to Bright Street and then carry on to the War Memorial Theatre. The show must go on, despite rain. However if there is torrential rain, we will cancel the Parade.
The number of tickets you requested on your online graduation form will be in the bag with your regalia. If extra seat tickets become available you will have the opportunity to request more tickets when collecting your academic regalia. Guests will not be admitted to the theatre unless they present a ticket.
Graduands do not need a ticket to attend.
A professional photographer will be at the War Memorial Theatre to take photos. All graduates will be asked to make their way onto the stage for the group photo at the conclusion of the proceedings.

Graduation Costs and Payments
All payments for regalia made on or before Friday, 1st April 2022. This price covers attending and regalia hire.
Payments can be made in person at the Main Reception in Gisborne or Internet banking
