If you want to become a fully qualified electrician then the first step towards an electrical apprenticeship is the Certificate in Electrical Trades at EIT.
You will achieve unit standards towards the National Certificate in Electrical Engineering. You’ll learn in our electrical workshops conducting experiments in our state of the art Trades Complex. To prepare you for your apprenticeship you will develop practical skills. Graduates normally continue their theory and practical training as part of their apprenticeship, which leads to becoming a registered electrician. Check it out here
If you’d like an electrical service qualification but can’t commit to full-time study then the Electrical Service Technician course is for you.
