School of Education and Social Sciences teacher educator Emily Nelson gave two presentations on her PhD research in the UK. Emily gave a seminar “Building Student Capacity to Co-govern in the Classroom” at Queen’s University, Belfast and was hosted by the Centre for Children’s Rights.

She also presented at the 4th Cambridge University Student Voice Conference “Shifting the Power Lens: Power Relations within Classroom-based Student Voice Initiatives” at Cambridge  University.
