People say study leads to greater work opportunities – but is that true?

Anthony Ham of software developers Integral, hired Damian Plimmer, who completed his degree this year.

Anthony says employing new grads lacking real-world experience can be a problem.  However, working an internship during his final year of study allowed Damian to familiarise himself with Magic, an application development platform used by Integral.

Tarah Carpenter was offered a job at Red Jungle after completing a project for the Ahuriri-based software development company for her Bachelor of Computing Systems internship.
