Year Two Video student Amanda Dawson had a great time at her first film premiere in Auckland this week. Amanda made a great impression during her week as runner with the Auckland film crew back in April and scored jobs as extras for some of her EIT classmates and lecturer Jonathan Rogers. Amanda was invited to the screening of Simple Pleasures by Director Chris Graham who graduated from New York’s School of Visual Arts. He has directed TVCs including the Cadbury Ad featuring Bobby McFerrin and his award winning music videos include Smashmouth’s Brother and Little Things for Trinity Roots. Hismovie directing credits include the short film Water and feature film Sione’s Wedding. Director Chris says he and producer Neil Stichbury are keen to visit EIT and talk to our students about the NZ screen industry. Yahoo!
