Profile
Briar Davies holds a BSc with a double major in Genetics and Microbiology from Massey University and has undergone postgraduate study with the same institute. Her post-graduate work focuses on plant-microbe interactions and both genetic and phenotypic changes seen there. Having spent several years in research roles she is currently working on a project with Plant and Food Research, with previous associations including AgResearch. She has been with EIT since 2018 and lectures in several core subjects within the area of Viticulture and Wine Science, specifically microbiology, plant science and scientific statistics.
