(Liquor) License Controllers Qualification NZQA Unit Standards – A must before you apply for your bar manager’s license with the council.

By law, every hospitality business that sells alcohol must have a qualified person in charge at all times.

After completing the Licence Controllers Qualification (LCQ) you will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and the responsibilities and requirements for the service of alcohol in licensed premises.

Dates:

Week 1 – Monday 05 September, 9.30am-2pm

Week 2 – Monday 12 September, 9.30am-2pm

Week 3 – One Week Self-directed learning/study

Week 4 – Monday 26 September, 9.30am-12.30pm (This day is for mentoring through the self-directed content.)

You must attend all dates and pass to receive your qualification.

This course requires a primary ID in the form of BC or passport certified by a registered JP.

Location: Ruatoria Regional Learning Centre, 12 Hekiera Rd, Ruatoria 4032.
