An introduction to styling. This taster will cover how to style yourself with different resources for a range occasions and events.

SCREEN PRODUCTION
Many of the big movies use the green screen to create their scenes. Experience the magic of the green screen and sample a taste of the movie world.

ROBOTICS
Get started with designing and instructing robots in a new purpose-built lab. You will use the VEX EDR platform and programme your robots to do specific tasks. In addition, we will look at programming Raspberry Pi’s and Arduino’s, which are widely used in robotics.

NURSING
Come and spend time in our simulation lab and learn a few basic nursing skills such as vital signs and injections.

VISUAL ARTS AND DESIGN
The Hybrid – take part in an art project where you blend/hybridise two or more differing ‘images’ to compose a new creature, plant, machine or even a monster.

SPORT AND EXERCISE
“The Secret of Peak Performance – It’s All In Your Head”. A hands on workshop where you’ll learn and practice the four things the best coaches, athletes and teams do.

“Strength and Conditioning – What is it?”. A short presentation on the various capacities that make up strength and conditioning
followed by a body weight high-intensity interval training (HIIT) session teaching physical literacy.
