Jonathan has a varied art department CV he worked at Weta Workshop on props for films including King Kong, Avatar, The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, District 9, Black Sheep, The Hobbit.  He was a model-maker for The Dambusters and constructed and painted sets for Omaka Museum.  He constructed and repaired armour for The Last Samurai filmHe has been Art Department Manager for the 2002 World of Wearable Arts Awards, Illustrator for BBC production The Lost World (2001) and worked variously as model-maker, designer, sculptor and storyboard artist on Lord of the Rings.  He has previously taught life drawing at Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology and Victoria University’s School of Architecture and Design.
