Profile

Dr Steffen Kromer is a Lecturer in Business Management at the Eastern Institute of Technology. He received his PhD in Management from Royal Holloway, University of London. His research focuses on transnational management and communication, anthropology and its application in business studies, German and East Asian business cultures. Dr Kromer taught management related courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

His recent monograph, Transnational Management: Identity and Nunchi in Multinational Corporations examines nunchi (emotional intelligence), an important non-Western organisational phenomenon and the role of symbols of identity.

Dr Kromer is passionate about helping students see the real-world implications of classroom theories and achieve their professional goals.
