Diana is practicum manager for the School of Health and Sport Science. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Otago University and recently completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Health Science at EIT. The focus for her post-graduate diploma was on vocational rehabilitation and cognitive behaviour therapy.

As practicum manager, Diana is responsible for ensuring students gain meaningful industry placements while studying for the Bachelor of Recreation and Sport. Napier born and bred, Diana has established extensive networks throughout the community.  These include elected roles as a director on the Hawke’s Bay District Health Board, and trustee on the Hawke’s Bay Power Consumers’ Trust.  Strong connections in the community assist Diana in recognising the best placement opportunities for students pursuing their vocational goals.
