New Zealand Nursing Practice

I began my registered nurse career in 1994, as a surgical nurse at “Good Health Wanganui”.  In 1996 I travelled to the United Kingdom to broaden my nursing career agency nursing.  Since returning to New Zealand in 2000 I worked in both the public and private sector specialising in day surgery and PACU (Post Anaesthetic Care Unit).

In 2010 I then began working for EIT doing practicum lecturing with nursing students at the Hawke’s Bay District Hospital and local rest homes.  I am now programme co-ordinator for the Certificate in Contemporary New Zealand Nursing Practice for international students and RNs returning to practice and look forward to working alongside you and assisting you with your nursing career.
