The School of Viticulture and Wine did an outstanding job on Thursday of hosting their Excellencies Lieutenant General The Right Honourable Sir Jerry Mateparae and Lady Janine Mateparae.  The lecturing staff explained their research, the students spoke about their studies as the official party toured the laboratories and industry spoke about the valued collaboration and partnership with EIT.

It is most valuable to have the Governor General associated with EIT.  A quick word with the Governor General by Mark Oldershaw (Deputy CE) before he left was he very impressed with what he saw and the staff and students he met.
