It’s been a busy week at EIT with plenty of comings and goings.

The Science Fair was held with both intermediate and high school students competing.  It’s always great to see excited young minds grappling with interesting science and experiments.

Our screen production students were excited to meet Weta Digital’s visual effects supervisor Matt Aitken.  Weta Digital has been very supportive of EIT by allowing our students the opportunity to visit their studios this year.

And lastly the annual Bragato Exchange Scholarship winner has arrived from Italy.  The scholarship was established in 2003 and is co-sponsored by the Rotary Club of Taradale and EIT.  Chris Bonifacio, is on a four week tour of NZ winegrowing regions.  And spending time with Chris is Ben Tombs, a concurrent Bachelor of Viticulture and Bachelor of Wine Science student. Ben is EIT’s successful candidate to go to Italy on the exchange in January.
